I'm a photographer, a mom, and
a big believer that the everyday moments
is what needs to be captured the most.
The sleepy baby snuggles. The belly laughs.
The kids who won't sit still, and
all the little moments you don't realize you'll miss until they're gone.
I want your photos to feel like your family-

And yes, I will absolutely make weird noises,

I have so many things I could say about Melanie and her photography business but probably the best word I could use to describe her and my family's experience with Melanie is "trust." Melanie drove almost 3 hours to come photograph my family for the day. She stepped into our home, in a somewhat vulnerable time for any mother ( 3 weeks after giving birth), and it immediately felt as if my sister was there.
She was warm, friendly, gentle, helpful when my 4 year old started melting, and it was the right amount of tenderness for all of us. She captured a time in our lives that is both intense and sadly fleeting. Thank you Melanie! You truly have a gift both behind the camera and with people.
