Hi, I'm Melanie! Photographer, mom, and professional kid-chaser.

I'm based in Chico, California, where I spend my days photographing families, couples, newborns, graduating high school and college seniors. Go Wildcats!

My photography style is pretty simple: I want your photos to look like you. If that means you're dressed to the nines or in jeans and a sweatshirt, I'm here for it. I love to capture families in their current stage of life.

I'll tell you where to go, what to do, and occasionally where to put your hands because nobody knows what to do with their hands once a camera comes out. But after that, I want you to forget I'm there.

When I'm not behind the camera, you'll find me playing with my kids, eating at the Costco food court, and watching Gilmore Girls for the millionth time.
